Cork Seminar April 2008

Sensei Paul Allen 7th Dan welcomes Hanshi Patrick McCarthy 8th Dan to Cork and the Gin Sen Karate Club.
This was Hanshi McCarthy's first visit to Cork.
There was a 'packed house', in fact within a number of days following the initial announcement by Sensei Allen that he was hosting Hanshi McCarthy in Cork it became fully subscribed.
From begininger to 6th degree black belt attended with most atendees coming from a Shotokan background.

Sensei Allen had displayed in his dojo a number of placards describing Koryu Uchinadi practices, HAPV theory, core curriculum, ground work references etc. to aid the seminar participants during Hanshi McCarthy's introduction.

It was a packed house with visitors from England and through out Ireland. Since this seminar members of the Gin Sen Karate Club have travelled to America for the North America Koryu Uchinadi Gasshuku to continue their training with Hanshi McCarthy and have strengthened their links with the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society.
