Ground game
Boxing drills and pad work
As well as the regular workshop instructors we will have some special guest instructors for the day.
- Paul Allan, 7th Dan Shotokan and IRKRS-Ireland Technical Director
Covering – Karate Fundamentals and Hanshi McCarthy’s Quadrant Drill.
- Fergal McKenna, 3rd Dan IRKRS and Boxing Coach
Covering – Boxing elements from Hanshi McCarthy’s Kihon Heishu Wasa Futari-geiko, boxing drills and pad work.
- Shane Geary, Karate Yudansha, Harris International Grappling Instructor
Covering – closing the distance, negotiating the clinch, takedowns and ground game.
Venue – Galway City School of Judo
Time – 10am – 4pm
Cost - €20 per participant

Equipment required but not essential,
-Tan-bo or escrima/kali stick – limited supply available
-Boxing Gloves or similar - limited supply available
